Jaja Is A Reference Point In Grassroots Development - Mojeed
The Honourable member representing ward F in Ibeju-Lekki Local Government Area of Lagos State, Hon. Mojeed Olayinka Oluwafunmi, has described the Council Chairman, Hon Sesan Olowa as a reference point in grassroots governance.
While responding to questions from newshunt in his Igando-Oloja Council Secretariat, stated that the council Chairman had provided all-inclusive governance in the last four years which has upscaled the Local Government with the provision of basic social amenities that has made life more meaningful for the people at the Council Area.
He said the Council Chairman had maintained cordial relations with the Legislative Council which had resulted into smooth running of the government.
He however spoke on the various motions and bills passed by the Local Government which had improved environmental sanitation, security (Folumo Local Security Outfit) among others.
He further added that the Legislative Council also made amendment on existing bye-laws in the Local Government in a bid to deliver democracy dividends to people at the grassroots.
Others legacy projects undertaken by the lawmaker included, borehole installation, provision of stomach infrastructure, adding that he also procured sewing machines as empowerment project among others impetus for the people of his wards.
In his message of hope to the people of Ibeju-Lekki Local Government, he revealed that the future was bright and the people should keep their hope alive as the current administration in the Local Government would continue to undertake laudable projects that would redefine good governance and also provide enabling environment for businesses to flourish.
